Director Selvaraghavan is getting ready for his upcoming magnum opus ‘Vishwaroopam’ which will see ‘Ulaga Nayagan’ in the lead. The film is touted to be an Indian version of the much-acclaimed Hollywood thriller ‘Hannibal’.

The film is believed to be a thriller and will see Kamal in a trimmed down avatar. Sonakshi Sinha will be his pair in the film. The team was to begin the first schedule of shooting in the US, which did not materialize do to the US Embassy issuing a curb on the unit’s visa. There are reports now that the Selvaraghavan has zeroed in on Canada for the shoot. The camera might begin to roll in June.

The film will be a trilingual which will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The scripting too is believed to be a first-of-its-kind attempt in Tamil cinema. The music for this project has been given to Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. With the film having a director and actor who dare to be different and encourage different scripts this one sure will keep the expectations high.

There are also reports that the film will be shot at one stretch in a 100-day schedule. With director Selvaraghavan known as a person keen on perfecting even the smallest of details this time frame will be the biggest challenge he will have to battle apart from the other issues that will mushroom as the film’s shooting progresses.

We wish the team ‘Viswaroopam’ the best and hope they come out with a gripping story!
